• 25/hour Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience working in a clinic or healthcare call center environment. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated knowledge of prior authorization and case management regulations governing Medi-Cal, Commercial, Medicare, CCS, and other government and commercial programs . 2 years minimum of experience in a managed healthcare environment , such as an IPA, or HMO, is required Experience with denial letter processing is required Knowledge of DOFR grid is highly preferred Preferred experience working with ethnically diverse populations Job Overview The UM Coordinator is primarily responsible for gathering and coordinating relevant information for assigned members throughout the continuum of care, including assessments, care planning, interdisciplinary care team meetings, and transitions of care. This role also involves troubleshooting issues as they arise and independently taking action to resolve complex situations in a timely and effective manner.
