This department works hand in hand with our off-site billing service. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, multi-tasker with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
Part Time, Tuesday-Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm Must possess the following experience: 2+ years of healthcare medical insurance/billing experience Understanding of health plans, PPO, HMO, POS, Medicare and MediCal Ability to read and understand an EOB Knowledge of basic medical coding Understanding of health plans eligibilities and authorizations Proficient in 10 key, Microsoft Office Word, Miscrosoft Teams, Excel and Google Docs Knowledge of business office systems, procedures and HIPAA Exceptional Customer Service Ability to communicate clear and concise information and stay calm under pressure Bilingual Responsibilities include: Health plans follow up regarding eligibilities and authorizations Take patient inquiry calls Review patient account balances. Ability to identify, research and resolve patient inquiries Run credit card payments Mail Handling Gathering of physician hospital charges in a timely manner to batch and send for billing Other miscellaneous duties within the billing department

From $22.00 per hour
