We strive to deliver excellent patient care, and your role will directly contribute to keeping our billing operations accurate, timely, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Process claims efficiently and ensure compliance with clearinghouse and payer criteria. Follow up on assigned claims work lists, ensuring timely responses. Review payer response and rejection reports, addressing issues as needed. Meet departmental productivity and quality standards for claim processing and follow-up. Communicate regularly with Team Management regarding claims follow-up and process improvements. Provide support and training to team members and assist with duties in the absence of the Supervisor or Manager. Accurately document all account activity and correspondence in a timely manner. Assist with filing required reports and ensure they meet Departmental Quality Review standards. Qualifications Experience in revenue cycle management, claims processing, or medical billing preferred. Understanding of payer requirements across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with [mention any specific software if relevant, e.g., Epic, Availity, clearinghouse platforms]. Ability to work well in a team, support team members, and effectively communicate with management. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing or coding is a plus.
