Senior Claims Representative, PIP

In this fast-paced role, the Senior PIP Claim Representative adjusts first-party Personal Injury Protection claims in accordance with state compliance requirements, regulations, and company guidelines. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Handle lower- to moderate-severity Personal Injury Protection claims across multiple states Receive approximately 3-5 first reports per day, with a focus on timely patient contact, customer service, and accurate claim disposition Perform daily duties including first reports, ImageRight tasks, medical bill review, treatment monitoring, reserve analysis, and coordination with nursing staff Maintain an effective follow-up system on pending files while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment Provide timely updates to injured parties regarding claim status and disposition Investigate and interpret policy provisions and conditions to make appropriate coverage determinations Apply functional knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, along with a thorough understanding of Personal Injury Protection claim handling and regulatory requirements Demonstrate strong multitasking and decision-making skills in time-sensitive situations Ensure service quality, loss control, and expense management standards are consistently met Adhere to all privacy guidelines, laws, and regulations related to claims handling Collaborate effectively within a small team environment while maintaining strong customer service standards Qualifications and Education Prior claims experience preferred; Personal Injury Protection (PIP) experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is a plus Recent college graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience are encouraged to apply Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Perks and Benefits 4 weeks accrued paid time off + 9 paid national holidays per year Free onsite gym at our Boston Location Tuition Reimbursement Low cost and excellent coverage health insurance options that start on Day 1 (medical, dental, vision) Robust health and wellness program and fitness reimbursements Auto and home insurance discounts Matching gift opportunities Annual 401(k) Employer Contribution (up to 7.5% of your base salary) Various Paid Family leave options including Paid Parental Leave Resources to promote Professional Development (LinkedIn Learning and licensure assistance) Convenient location directly across from

$68,000 -$95,000 a year. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
