While there is one position currently available, UE welcomes candidates across a wide range of experience levels, including those with limited prior insurance experience. The final job title will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated skill level.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Handle a large volume of claims through all stages of the claim process. Maintaining complete and accurate claim files and documentation throughout. Depending upon the role and prior experience, the individual may handle litigated matters. Commitment to collaborative problem‑solving, service excellence, and fostering an inclusive team environment. Being curious, paying attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are critical skills. Ability to review and understand insurance contracts and apply applicable terms to claims. Ability to evaluate liability, recommending resolution strategies, and negotiating settlements. Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), and decision‑making skills Commitment to collaborative problem‑solving, service excellence, and fostering an inclusive team environment. EDUCATION
For Assistant position, typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience, Paralegal Certification, Associate degree or preferably Bachelor's degree For Associate position, typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience, Paralegal Certification, Associate degree or preferably Bachelor's degree Other relevant experience may include Clery Act reporting, Title IX or other workplace investigations, and paralegal experience.
