OVERVIEW
Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in the US providing a wide range of Energy-related products and services to its customers, seeks an accomplished Claims Intake Representative / Specialist.

    6 months with possibilities of extension.

PM EST Pay Rate:
$33.00/hr.
  • $40.
00/hr W2 (depending upon experience)
Position Overview:
The Claims Intake Representative/Specialist will support the Law Department by managing incoming claims, maintaining legal claim records, handling customer and claimant communications, and processing claim-related documentation. The ideal candidate is highly service-oriented, detail-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment involving phone support, data entry, claims processing, and written correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
Create entities, incidents, and matters within Law Department systems
Utilize:
Law Manager database Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Teams PDF/eDOCS systems Answer inbound claims phone calls Receive and respond to: Claim inquiries s Written correspondence Provider and law firm communications Follow up with external parties for missing or incomplete claim information Save and organize correspondence within eDOCS and associated matter files Notify assigned investigators regarding new communications or documentation Link related claims/incidents within systems Manage and monitor shared inboxes including: LAW
  • Claims New Claims Input to CMS Route claims correspondence to proper departments/folders Research additional claim information using:
CC&B OMS
Maximo systems Assist with claims processing and additional administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 3+ years of experience in: Customer service Claims intake Insurance support Call center environments Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel Word Outlook Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workflows Strong customer service background within the insurance sector preferred Comfortable working in fast-paced environments under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
