Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Title Insurance Processor/Closer to join our dynamic real estate team. In this vital role, you will manage the entire title insurance closing process, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of real estate transactions. Your expertise in title processing, research, and legal principles will help facilitate smooth closings for our clients, providing clarity and confidence in every transaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a law office environment dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and precise legal documentation. Responsibilities Review and interpret real estate legal documents, including titles, deeds, liens, and encumbrances to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws. Conduct comprehensive research using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and other resources to verify property details and ownership history. Prepare and process title insurance policies, closing statements, and settlement documents with meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and escrow officers to facilitate seamless closings. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with state regulations before finalizing transactions. Oversee the escrow process from start to finish, including disbursement of funds and recording of legal documents. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the closing process. Experience Prior experience working in a law office or real estate environment specializing in title processing or closings. Strong knowledge of real estate law, title insurance procedures, and legal documentation requirements. Proven ability to research property histories thoroughly using GIS systems or similar tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and legal professionals. Familiarity with title processing software and general office technology.
