We are looking for a candidate that has either a UAS certificate, Private Pilot/Commercial License, or A&P mechanic certificate. This is a hybrid opportunity located in Overland Park, KS. You will apply your aviation knowledge in the role daily and be responsible for the performance and supervision of first and third-party claims handling. The type of Claims that will be handled are Drone and Small Aircraft Claims. This is a great opportunity to join our elite Claims team! Further duties & responsibilities are listed below. Adjust claims and conduct negotiations on behalf of the Company within a specified range of authority. Remain informed of all assigned claims through periodic review and diary control Maintain current knowledge of technical and legal developments Evaluate subrogation potential on claims assigned for handling and make recommendations to claims management concerning pursuit of subrogated recoveries Assist in the underwriting and production efforts undertaken in coordination with underwriting managers Manage claims and perform the administrative, recordkeeping and appraisal functions required by the
Company Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field, or equivalent, preferred Insurance adjuster license(s)preferred Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration with team members and across the Company Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office computer applications Excellent oral and written communication skills 25% domestic travel required
Pay Range Anticipated Pay Range For This Role Is:
$55,000 - $70,000 This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography and skill set. All full time positions are eligible to participate in Global's profit-sharing plan program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
