Bilingual Claims Processor -
Brazilian Portuguese Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM EST Work Arrangement:
Remote Language Requirement:
Must be Bilingual in Brazilian Portuguese (must be clearly listed on resume) Position Overview The Bilingual Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing claims while determining benefits eligibility according to credit card or other financial program benefit plans. This role focuses on delivering timely claim resolutions, processing payments and adjustments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in both English and Brazilian Portuguese, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Process first-party property claims based on client-specific coverage guidelines Investigate and evaluate claims to determine appropriate coverage decisions Adjudicate settlements or claim denials within assigned authority levels Manage a high volume of: Claims Phone calls Written correspondence Ensure claim files are accurately documented and maintained Meet established production, quality, customer service, and turnaround time expectations Provide professional customer support regarding claim status and benefit determinations Support organizational quality assurance programs Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bilingual in Brazilian Portuguese and English Portuguese language proficiency must be clearly indicated on resume Minimum of 1 year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to meet or exceed productivity and performance goals Preferred Qualifications Claims processing or insurance industry experience Knowledge of first-party property and casualty claims adjudication Active licenses are preferred Key Skills Customer service Claims processing Coverage determination Documentation and file management Time management Attention to detail Communication and interpersonal skills Analytical thinking Microsoft Office proficiency
