San Rafael, California About us Latitude Food Allergy Care is the leading network of clinics providing life-changing testing and treatment, including oral immunotherapy (OIT), to help families with food allergies live more freely. Latitude was founded in 2018 by food allergy parents in partnership with world-renowned researchers to provide an exceptional patient experience specifically designed for the needs of food allergy patients of all ages. Led by board-certified allergists, Latitude has provided evidence-based solutions like OIT to more than 11,000 patients with single and multiple food allergies, including those with the most severe food allergies. Latitude currently has 11 clinics — four in Northern California, three in NYC, and four in Southern California — and is expanding across the country. Role We are looking to hire an energetic and passionate person to join our diverse and driven team. This person will focus on providing exceptional care for families who suffer from severe food allergies. Responsibilities and Duties Patient care responsibilities include: obtaining vital signs, placing allergy skin tests, drawing blood, administering medications, preparing doses for visits, and assisting nurses with patient visits.
Administrative responsibilities include:
Ordering labs, obtaining insurance approvals, scheduling, data entry, and restocking clinical supplies. Requirements Phlebotomy certification and/or experience with pediatric blood draws Active California CMA license BLS/CPR certification Personable and professional, especially with pediatric patients and their parents Strong communication skills Qualities Flexibility, the ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations Positive attitude with a willingness to accept constructive feedback Ability to learn from failure and make the best out of any situation Personal initiative, self-motivation, hands-on style, and strong work ethic Organized and detail-oriented, as you will be managing the preparation of food doses for food allergic individuals Must be able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently Creativity and the ability to think outside the box while defining sound and practical solutions Preferred Experience in allergy and/or pediatrics Compensation Competitive pay Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401(k), FSA, PTO and major Holidays Job Type Full-time with benefits License CA CMA and CA CPT Latitude Food Allergy Care is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience.
