Attention to detail Healthcare privacy protection Productivity software Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Summary Medical Professionals is seeking an Medical Insurance Specialist / Claims Analyst to support revenue cycle operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role focuses on claims follow-up, insurance verification, and resolving billing issues to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced in insurance billing, and comfortable working independently. •

Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 7:30am-5pm

Pay:

$19.50/ per hour• What you'll do Follow up on claim status via insurance portals and payer calls to determine adjudication details Contact payers and patients to resolve claim denials, rejections, and coverage issues Verify patient insurance eligibility and coordination of benefits Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payer correspondence Investigate and resolve electronic claim rejections and processing errors Submit corrected claims, secondary claims, and updates as needed Research payment retractions and identify claim processing issues Meet productivity and quality KPI metrics What we're looking for High school diploma or GED Previous health insurance billing experience Working knowledge of medical terminology Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Must reside within 30 miles of Middleburg Heights, OH Ability to work remotely after training with a private workspace for HIPAA compliance Good to have Experience in revenue cycle management Knowledge of ICD-10 coding Experience handling appeals and denials

Schedule and Pay Location:

Middleburg Heights, OH (must live within 30 miles)

Work Setup:

Onsite training for approximately 90 days Fully remote after training (must have private workspace for HIPAA compliance)

Jonathan Primary Pay:

$19.50 per hour
