The ideal candidate will have a strong typing skills (45+wpm), background in medical billing and reimbursement processes. As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing/submitting requests, correcting authorization errors, daily reports. This is a hybrid position, working both remotely and in office.

Responsibilities:

Review and process insurance claims for accuracy and completeness Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials or discrepancies Utilize medical coding knowledge to assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and compliance requirements Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for claims processing Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims

Requirements:

Advanced in Excel preferred Good communication skills, able to multitask and work independently Experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or collections Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance companies and healthcare providers.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

High level of attention to detail Proficiency in Excel is preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills Prior experience with the Oklahoma Medicaid website is advantageous but not mandatory. Typing speed must be 45+ wpm (typing will be tested)

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm

Compensation:

$18-$20 per hour, Depending on experience.
