Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include receiving fertility specialty prescriptions and managing prior authorization processes through interaction with insurance companies and clinics. Key Responsibilities Receiving prescriptions (fertility specialty). Handling prior authorization by making outbound calls to insurance companies and engaging in chats with clinics. Meeting the goal of working through 20 patients per day. Qualifications Pharmacy Technician experience. Preferred experience in pharmacy (retail, mail order, or specialty). Pharmacy Technician State of TX License Skills Proficiency with pharmacy protocols and processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with insurance companies and clinics. Schedule M-F shift 9:00 am -5:30 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Additional Requirements Great training is provided to ensure success in this role.
