Agencies is hiring a Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Representative in Scottsdale, AZ. You'll build and manage your own book of commercial insurance business (prospecting, quoting, binding, and servicing), working alongside agency leadership with input on how the agency grows and how your role evolves with it. What Makes This Different You are joining a small team backed by a 50+ year insurance organization with the President and CEO actively engaged in our growth TCIA was designed in part around our collective frustrations with the independent agency model, which turned into a core principle and duty to our team: finding ways to leverage technology in an industry averse to it so we can spend more time doing the work we like, succeed faster, win bigger, minimize the busywork and have more fun while doing it. We focus on mid-market commercial accounts, businesses that are too large for a typical small agency to service well and too small for the national brokerages to prioritize. It's work that requires real expertise, and it's more interesting than commodity small commercial Your work directly impacts the agency's direction and results. This is not a role where you disappear into a hierarchy We are building our own technology and AI tools to make sales and servicing more efficient, and you will be part of shaping how that works

Compensation First-year on-target earnings of $70,000 to $80,000 including commissions, with a competitive base salary depending on experience. Salary Range:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Health Insurance Disability Insurance Professional Designation Reimbursement (e.g. CIC, CPCU, etc.) Mon-Fri Schedule Company car, insurance, gas Company laptop Cell phone/stipend Requirements Active Arizona Property and Casualty license (or ability to transfer/obtain reciprocal license promptly) 3+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience with a track record of new business production Strong preference given to candidates with experience in the auto dealership space, whether relating to insurance or not Demonstrated ability to manage both new business development and ongoing account servicing (you are comfortable hunting and farming) Self-directed and comfortable working in an agile, fast-moving environment where you create your own processes and take ownership of results Working knowledge of commercial coverages including BOP, general liability, workers compensation, commercial auto, and umbrella Responsibilities Prospect and develop new commercial lines accounts through cold outreach, networking, referrals, inbound leads and community involvement Manage the full sales cycle from discovery meetings through policy analysis, quoting, presentations, and binding Handle your own book servicing in our current stage (certificates, endorsements, renewals, claims advocacy). As the agency grows and we add service staff, your role shifts toward production and relationship management Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters and agency partners to get the most competitive terms for your clients Work directly with agency ownership on strategy, market development, and growing TCIA's presence in and ability to serve the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix commercial markets About Us Commercial Insurance | Broker Services | Risk Management |
