Job Description:
Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager / Risk Analyst Orange, CA (On-site) Role Overview If you're looking for more out of your career-and you know you're capable of delivering at a higher level - this is the opportunity to be recognized and grow into it. This role sits at the intersection of client relationships and real risk decision-making. You'll work with existing commercial clients, helping them understand where they are exposed and what needs to be addressed. The focus is on advising, improving coverage, and helping clients make informed decisions based on what you see. The team is small and works closely together in the office. Collaboration is expected. You'll be part of ongoing conversations around how to approach client situations, evaluate risk, and arrive at the right outcome. This is a place for someone who wants to think through problems, not just process tasks. What You'll Work On Managing a portfolio of commercial client accounts Reviewing policies and identifying where coverage may be incomplete or misaligned Advising clients on risk exposure and recommending appropriate coverage Communicating clearly with clients in both written and verbal form Supporting producers while building the ability to operate independently with clients Working through real client scenarios and determining the right course of action Collaborating with other account managers to develop better solutions Participating in ongoing training and development as part of the team This role is about understanding risk, making decisions, and communicating those decisions clearly Technical Expectation Solid foundation in commercial lines insurance and account management Preferably holds a CPCU, CIC, ARM or other Preferably a business degree (finance, accounting, economics, statistics, etc.) from an accredited college Ability to evaluate coverage and identify Comfortably advising clients directly Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to think through scenarios and connect information quickly Comfortable working with current systems and learning new tools as needed Ideal Background Signals Experience in commercial lines account management or a related role Ability to understand and explain insurance concepts clearly Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Comfortable working in an in-office, team-based environment Interest in learning and growing beyond a traditional account management role What matters most is how you think, how you learn, and how you apply what you know.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary:
