Job Description

Job Overview Salary Range:
$50,000 - $80,000 (Year 1 income potential based on performance) Ownership track available for qualified candidates Looking to build a career, not just find another job? Farmers Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent in Training for individuals who want to grow in a sales-driven environment and develop long-term career opportunities within the insurance industry. If you already have insurance experience or a license, that's a big plus. If you don't, but you're motivated, coachable, and ready to learn, we're still very interested in talking to you. This role is designed to help you build real-world sales skills, learn the business, and create a path toward advancement, including the potential to move into agency ownership over time.
Salary Range:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Flexible Schedule Mon-Fri Schedule Hands on Training Career Growth Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Coachable with a willingness to learn and improve Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented Comfortable in a sales-focused environment Organized with the ability to manage follow-up and pipeline activity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Insurance experience and/or active State of Connecticut insurance license preferred—but not required Willingness to obtain a State of Connecticut insurance license over time Responsibilities Develop and generate new business through outreach, referrals, and networking Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions Build and maintain strong client relationships Track and manage pipeline activity and follow-ups Present quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations Maintain accurate client records and documentation Participate in training and development to build product knowledge and sales skills Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals Stay current on insurance products, services, and industry knowledge
