Duties Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote health insurance products. Conduct detailed analysis of client needs to recommend suitable insurance plans that align with their health requirements and financial goals. Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating records, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to secure the best benefits for clients while ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, explaining policy features, and assisting clients throughout the enrollment process. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase product awareness and attract new customers across diverse communities, including multilingual outreach. Support benefits administration by helping clients understand plan options, coverage details, and claim procedures to maximize their health benefits. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Health Insurance Agent or the ability to obtain licensure prior to employment start date. Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industry. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to clearly convey complex information. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively. Knowledge of sales administration processes and analysis skills for evaluating client needs and product suitability. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of protected health information. Ability to work independently while managing multiple client interactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
