Position Summary We're hiring a Commercial Lines Account Executive to support a growing insurance agency. The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing client relationships, renewal strategy, and coverage consultation for an assigned book of commercial insurance business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, focusing on retention, coverage alignment, and organic growth while ensuring accurate execution and compliance. As the agency continues to grow, this role is designed to evolve into a senior advisory and leadership position supported by dedicated Account Manager resources. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner for ongoing service and renewals Lead renewal strategy, coverage reviews, and client consultation meetings Identify coverage gaps, emerging exposures, and opportunities for program improvements Partner with Commercial Agents/Producers on client strategy, key accounts, and complex renewals Coordinate policy changes, renewals, and service needs while maintaining strong quality and documentation standards Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters Review policies, proposals, and renewals for accuracy, completeness, and coverage intent Document client conversations, recommendations, and decisions in accordance with agency and compliance standards Drive retention and organic growth through consultative account management and cross-selling Escalate complex coverage, underwriting, or client issues to the Director of Commercial Lines as needed Performs other duties as assigned. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. Required Qualifications Experience 3-7+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred Active Property & Casualty license required Strong knowledge of commercial coverages including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella, and specialty lines Experience working with multiple carriers and agency management systems Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship management skills Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Currently possess or must obtain Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health License. CISR, CIC or other insurance related designations are preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.
