Job Overview Join our team as a P&C Insurance Agent and become a vital part of helping clients protect what matters most! We are an independent insurance agency. In this role, you will actively engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs, provide tailored solutions, and guide them through the sales process. Your personality and communication skills will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while making a positive impact on people's lives through comprehensive home and auto insurance coverage. Production bonuses are offered based on performance. Responsibilities Conduct outside sales efforts by reaching out to potential clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to generate new business opportunities. Engage in retail sales by presenting insurance products clearly and confidently, emphasizing benefits that meet individual client needs. Negotiate policy options and pricing with clients, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation. Utilize analysis skills to assess client information, identify suitable insurance options, and recommend personalized coverage plans. Collaborate with management to promote insurance products through various channels, enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, demonstrating a proactive approach to customer engagement. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions persuasively. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in additional languages (bilingual/multilingual), to serve diverse client bases effectively. Familiarity with sales administration processes and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools is a plus. Knowledge of insurance sales practices involving home and auto is preferred. Experience with commercial insurance and applications is desired! Previous experience in customer service roles that require active listening and problem-solving abilities will be advantageous. $36,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
