Job Description:
We currently represent a very reputable growing insurance agency in the East Providence area looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. In this position you will provide service to existing and new middle market and larger accounts. Our client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a team player mentality. This position is for a seasoned account manager that can handle a busy environment. This is a very friendly work environment with a company that cares about their employees. Our client is looking for someone that can hit the ground running. A Commercial Lines Account Manager serves as a key client liaison, managing the day-to-day service for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients by addressing policy questions, handling renewals and changes, assisting with claims, and providing solutions for coverage needs. This role involves working closely with producers and insurance carriers to market and secure appropriate coverage, while also ensuring client retention and satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, building and nurturing strong relationships. Provide day-to-day service, addressing coverage questions, policy changes, and administrative tasks. Manage account renewals, ensuring timely and accurate policy processing.
Policy & Coverage Expertise:
Educate clients on their coverage, exclusions, and potential exposures. Review and analyze commercial accounts to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions. Assist with processing new business applications, endorsements, and preparing binders and policies.
Carrier & Market Coordination:
Work with producers to understand client needs and submit coverage specifications to carriers. Market accounts, obtain quotes, and assist in placing new and renewal risks with carriers. Negotiate with underwriters and carriers to resolve complex issues and secure suitable coverage
