Job Description

Job Overview Join the Conner Kline Agency, a Farmers Insurance agency proudly serving families and businesses across Michigan from our Lansing office. We help our community find affordable, reliable coverage for auto, home, life, business, and more — and most of our customers save over $1,000 a year. We are looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Representative to grow with our team. In this role, you will connect with prospective clients, understand their needs, and recommend the right coverage to protect what matters most to them. This is a full-time, in-office position offering a base salary plus commission, paid training, and clear opportunities for career growth.
Salary Range:
$55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission Paid Time Off (PTO) Hands on Training Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Requirements Active Michigan Property & Casualty and/or Life insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain one (we will help you get licensed). Strong communication, interpersonal, and active-listening skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a sales environment. Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience is a plus but not required. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn agency management software. High school diploma or equivalent; reliable and able to work full-time on-site in Lansing, MI. Responsibilities Respond to and follow up with incoming leads and prospective clients in a timely, professional manner. Identify each client's needs and recommend appropriate auto, home, life, business, and other insurance products. Quote, present, and close new policies while delivering an excellent customer experience. Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage retention, referrals, and multi-policy bundles. Accurately maintain client records and follow agency processes and compliance standards. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and activity targets.
