Title Insurance Agent

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Title Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for issuing title commitments, balancing escrow accounts, and efficient handling of real estate transactions. Your expertise will help protect property buyers and lenders by verifying ownership rights, researching property histories, and issuing title insurance policies. Duties Conduct comprehensive research on property titles using legal databases, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and public records to verify ownership and identify potential issues Process title applications, review legal documents, and prepare necessary paperwork for insurance policies Communicate clearly with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to gather information and explain title insurance procedures Review and interpret real estate law to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations during all transactions Maintain accurate records of all title searches, research findings, and policy issuances in accordance with company standards Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, professionally, and with a positive attitude Skills Proficiency in research methods using public records, legal databases, and GIS tools for property analysis Experience with computers is a must. Proficient in Word and Excel.
