Our team is committed to helping individuals navigate the complexities of Medicare and supplemental insurance plans. We pride ourselves on empowering clients with knowledge and support to make informed decisions about their insurance needs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Independent Agent role based in Southport, NC. The Independent Agent will work closely with clients to identify their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. Responsibilities include building client relationships, conducting consultations, explaining insurance options, and assisting with enrollment processes. Agents will also be responsible for generating leads, maintaining client portfolios, participating in community engagement activities, hosting and supporting educational seminars, contributing to client retention efforts, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations. Qualifications Sales and client relationship skills, including lead generation, consultation, and portfolio management Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively explain insurance policies Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and tasks effectively Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly Medicare and senior-focused plans, is a plus Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM tools for managing client data State insurance license or willingness to obtain one if not already certified High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or insurance is beneficial Health License or ability to obtain within reasonable timeframe
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
