Insurance Sales and Service Representative

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. Prior Insurance experience in sales or customer service are highly valued. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a vital role in helping clients protect their financial future while contributing to the growth of our agency. Starting pay based on prior experience. Hourly base pay plus commissions. Duties Conduct sales efforts to identify potential clients and expand the customer base Consult with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options Negotiate policy terms and premiums to reach mutually beneficial agreements Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications and maintaining accurate records Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and resolving issues promptly Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments with prospective clients Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth Skills Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, or retail sales environments Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively close deals and build rapport Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly Customer service skills or prior experience Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM software for managing client information Effective marketing skills to promote services and attract new business Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and empathetically Experience in telemarketing or direct outreach strategies is a plus Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
