The Role This is a full-time, W-2 sales and development position designed for individuals who want to grow into future leadership opportunities within the insurance industry. As an Insurance Sales Protege, you'll learn the fundamentals of agency operations while developing expertise in sales, client service, relationship management, and insurance solutions. Through a structured development program, you'll receive hands-on coaching, mentorship, and performance-based guidance designed to help you maximize your potential. Whether you're already licensed or willing to become licensed, this role provides a clear roadmap for professional growth and advancement.
Compensation Base Salary:
$45,000-$50,000 annually (depending on experience) Commission opportunities on new business production Typical total earnings: $65,000-$95,000+ annually Uncapped income potential as production increases Performance-based advancement opportunities What You'll Do Insurance Sales & Client Development Educate clients on insurance products and coverage options Sell and service personal and commercial insurance products Build and maintain a growing book of business Conduct policy reviews and identify coverage opportunities Develop long-term relationships with clients and referral partners Professional Development Participate in a structured leadership and development program Receive ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback Develop sales, service, and business management skills Learn agency operations, customer retention strategies, and business growth fundamentals Work toward defined performance milestones and career advancement goals Relationship Management Deliver exceptional customer service and support Build trust through consultative conversations and needs-based recommendations Maintain accurate client records and follow-up activities Represent the agency with professionalism and integrity What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships Desire to grow into leadership and management opportunities Preferred Qualifications Previous insurance, financial services, or consultative sales experience Active insurance license Candidates willing to obtain an insurance license if not currently licensed Strong organizational and time-management abilities Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term career goals Career Advancement This position is intentionally designed as a development pathway for future leaders.
