Job Overview:
This position is for a leader who will lead, inspire, and manage a team of motivated Personal Lines Insurance Professionals to help further our vision of providing exceptional service to all customers. It will require an ETHICAL Leader who has a growth mindset for themselves and has the same expectations for everyone around them. The manager will have a hands-on role ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved, leading key operational initiatives and developing associates to meet the needs of our growing businesses. We are sales and growth oriented, so an emphasis on quality sales and growth is important all the while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Sales and profitability bonuses are in addition to base pay. Responsibilities of the
Personal Lines Insurance Manager:
The main responsibility of the Personal Lines Insurance Manager is to manage overall operations of four locations and 12+ employees. Work in collaboration with leadership to manage overall operations and productivity of the agency across all four locations Delegate responsibilities and supervise business operations Assist with Personal Lines payroll Interview/ hire/ onboard employees Manage and oversee all Personal Lines employees Motivate the employees to increase productivity Work well independently and with mentoring/coaching Keep a highly visible profile with a "can do" leadership style to achieve exceptional results Champion innovative ideas to improve the quality of our product and service offerings Forecast staffing needs and develop approaches to attract and retain talent Organize training programs to ensure delivery of high-quality customer service Help the Agency maintain and grow its book of Personal Lines clients Sell and Solicit Agency Products Assist in claims management when necessary to facilitate Evaluate current insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when needed Identify and analyze risks associated with policies Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products Actively Market and Network in the community and promote the agency Establish client relationships and provide exceptional and extraordinary service Be able to handle disgruntled customers/ complaints professionally and with sincere appreciation of the customer's perspective Ensure legal and operational compliance across all businesses in accordance with Agency expectations Maintain all insurance documents in a confidential way Obtain and oversee Agency management systems Manage and Achieve target budgets Other duties as assigned to ensure the overall health and success of the business Qualifications for the
Personal Lines Insurance Manager:
Experience managing multiple office locations with 12+ employees Organized and detail-oriented self-starter who's able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Goal oriented with the ability to lead and manage others Possess an outgoing, upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with a sense of urgency Competitive, high energy level, quick learner, independent and self-motivated with desire to consistently improve themselves and others around them Demonstrate strong employee and customer focus with ability and tact to handle difficult employee and customer interactions Proactive problem solver able to solve complex problems without direct supervision Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building rapport and trust with customers Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills Persistent with strong follow-through and follow-up skills Excellent time management skills with discipline and a personal accountability mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills over the phone, email and in person in order to provide exceptional customer service Good listener: ability to hear, understand, and communicate complex business challenges Proficient with MS Office and agency management systems with general computer skills and ability to learn and continuously improve technical skills Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and communicate with assigned employees, clients and prospects Possess excellent math and reading skills to accurately perform daily operations Confident and works well within a team and independently

Stakeholder, Teacher and Mentor:
Self-motivated, mature adult that welcomes ownership in their role, willingness to help others and share knowledge while remaining coachable Must be able to pass a Criminal and Credit Background Check PA P&C license required Current PA Life and Health Licenses preferred HR experience preferred Experience in P&C insurance necessary, Benefits and Health Insurance experience is helpful Connections within the local communities and independently involved in the local community preferred
