The Personal Risk Manager serves as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying and assessing personal insurance exposures, recommending appropriate risk management solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience. This role combines insurance expertise, relationship management, and technology-driven processes to proactively protect clients' assets and lifestyles. The Personal Risk Manager leverages agency technology, data insights, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, enhance client communications, and support agency growth through retention, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and consultative risk discussions. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to address clients' evolving needs. Serve as a trusted advisor by educating clients on coverage options, policy changes, emerging risks, and industry trends. Deliver a high-touch client experience through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, text, video meetings, and digital platforms. Request referrals and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand agency services. Policy Administration & Service Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other service transactions accurately and efficiently. Review policies and renewal documents for accuracy, completeness, and coverage adequacy. Prepare quotes, applications, proposals, and coverage comparisons utilizing agency technology and carrier platforms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the agency management system and CRM. Document all client interactions, recommendations, and service activities in accordance with agency procedures and compliance standards. Remain knowledgeable regarding carrier underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and eligibility requirements. Risk Management & Growth Conduct annual client reviews and periodic comprehensive risk management consultations with your top clients, every 2-3 years for others. Identify coverage gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding. Utilize agency data, reporting tools, and client insights to prioritize outreach and retention efforts. Collaborate with producers, account managers, and carrier partners to deliver tailored insurance solutions. Support agency growth initiatives through client retention, referrals, and new business development opportunities. Technology & Innovation Utilize agency management systems, CRM platforms, carrier portals, and digital communication tools effectively. Leverage AI-assisted and automated workflows to improve productivity, client responsiveness, and operational efficiency. Maintain awareness of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy requirements when handling client information. Embrace continuous learning and technology adoption to enhance the client experience and agency performance. Additional Responsibilities Participate in team meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities. Contribute to a collaborative and positive agency culture. Perform additional duties as assigned.
