Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with their personal insurance needs, including home, auto, renters, and other personal lines policies. You'll provide exceptional service, ensure coverage accuracy, and help maintain long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to existing and prospective personal lines clients. Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements. Respond to inquiries about coverage, billing, claims, and policy details. Educate clients on available coverage options and make recommendations based on their needs. Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency management system. Follow up on customer requests and ensure timely resolution. Assist with quoting and binding new personal lines policies as needed. Work closely with insurance carriers to resolve underwriting issues and facilitate policy servicing. Support the agency's retention goals by maintaining positive relationships and proactive communication. Stay current with insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License (required). 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance customer service or related role preferred. Strong knowledge of personal insurance products (auto, home, renters, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) and Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills a plus.
Work Environment:
Office-based or hybrid depending on agency structure. Standard business hours
