Job Details :
  • Generate customer leads and sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including automobile, general liability, workers compensation.
  • Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes.
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.
  • Contact underwriter and submit forms to obtain binder coverage.
  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks.
  • Calculate premiums and establish payment method.
  • Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary additional insured's or specialized coverage.
  • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
  • Select company that offers type of coverage requested by client to underwrite policy.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about the specific types of jobs they will be doing as well as requirements of the owners of those jobs.
Requirements :
  • Must have an active Property & Casualty Insurance License
Commercial Insurance Sales Experience:
2 years
    Spanish:
    Required
    • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks, strong phone and email (outlook) skills, data entry experience, and customer service skills required.
    • Artisan or contractor experience preferred

    • 6:30 pm Friday|8:30 am

    Pay Rate :
    Base salary (DOE) + sales commission and quarterly bonuses
