This position requires a strong understanding of various insurance products and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure they receive the best coverage for their needs. You will be responsible for building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and guiding clients through the insurance process. Duties Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products to meet those needs. Provide information on policy features, benefits, and coverage options. Assist clients with benefits administration and claims processing. Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities. Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with clients. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer service experience. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly. Experience in retail sales or outside sales is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations as they pertain to client confidentiality. Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for both clients and the agency. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Proficiency in sales administration tasks to manage client accounts efficiently. A solid understanding of benefits administration related to various insurance products.
