Responsibilities As an agent, you will advocate for clients by conducting thorough needs analyses to understand their individual requirements. You will serve as an expert in life and health insurance, including Medicare, health, life insurance, and out-of-pocket cost protection, educating clients on available options and advising them on the best choices for their needs and budget. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and policy details is essential. This role demands excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone. Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial, as clients rely on our knowledge and efficiency. A high degree of professionalism and ethical standards is expected from all candidates, and a team-player mentality is imperative to our mission and culture. You will be required to learn and understand the fundamentals of senior health and life insurance options, such as Medicare, secondary coverage, annuities, long-term care, and life insurance. Conduct sales activities by reaching out to prospects through various methods, including telemarketing and community engagement. Help prospective members understand their Medicare options with clarity and care. Guide customers through the enrollment process for health plans that fit their needs, all from your desk. Develop expertise in system navigation, confident call handling, and building trusted relationships with members. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA to protect private information during all interactions. Benefit from expert coaching, performance feedback, and growth mentorship. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and computer skills Coachable, curious, and committed to personal growth Ability to pass the Hawaii state health insurance exam (we cover study and test costs upon completion of contracting!) Willingness to work in-person 2x/week for sales, team events, and meetings Must be able to pass a criminal background check Submission of a resume is strongly preferred, though not mandatory for consideration. Nice-to-Have Experience in sales, retail sales, or telemarketing. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities.Pay:
