New York , Huntington Job Description Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive Hybrid - Remote Suffolk County We're looking for a seasoned commercial insurance professional who thrives in a consultative, client-facing role. This position owns and services a substantial multi-million dollar commercial portfolio —made up of middle-large market accounts from a broad mix of industries such as real estate, construction, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, distribution, and staffing firms. Responsibilities Act as the lead relationship manager for a diversified group of commercial clients with complex insurance needs Retain, expand, and service a mid-to-large market commercial book Manage all aspects of ongoing account servicing including renewals, marketing, carrier negotiation, binding, and policy delivery Collaborate closely with internal marketing and placement teams on high-value or challenging renewal and remarketing strategies Oversee policy documentation, endorsements, audits, invoicing, and insurance certificates, while effectively utilizing a dedicated virtual assistant for routine processing and administrative tasks Ensure that client files, notes, and policy records are accurate and current within the agency's management system Work with an assistant that supports transactional and administrative workflows
Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial lines experience in account management or client service Experience servicing mid-market and large commercial accounts ($100K+ preferred) Strong knowledge of GL, Auto, Property, Workers' Comp, and Umbrella coverages Proficient with agency management and document systems Solid understanding of carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively Hybrid - only monthly in-office requirements!
