We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You'll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally.
Compensation:
$66,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives Guide clients in selecting appropriate coverage that best meets their needs Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements Actively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement Utilize social media and local media to promote community efforts and client success stories
Qualifications:
Some knowledge of farming or agricultural background Passion for social impact and community engagement Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve About Company On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded an insurance company. In our humble beginnings, we offered only auto insurance from our Pocatello office. Subsequent generations of employees and agents, guided by the founders' beliefs, built the company into what it is today: the largest writer of farm and ranch insurance in Idaho and the largest insurance company wholly based in Idaho.
