The Personal Lines Producer plays a crucial role in driving personal lines sales through diligent prospecting, solid relationship building, and delivering custom insurance solutions tailored to each client's needs. This role involves developing market plans, identifying and qualifying prospects, facilitating risk reviews, and presenting proposals that align with client needs and expectations.Responsibilities:
Creating a business plan with direction and assistance from Agency management. Continually identifying and locating prospects based on the approved business plan. Contacting prospects through personal visits, over the telephone, and by direct mail. Discovering the current scope of insurance coverage and the prospect's needs and wants. Creating a prospecting pipeline and reports. Providing clients and prospects with a risk review. Gathering all information necessary for complete submissions to Carriers. Reviewing endorsement, claim, audit and cancellation notices when sent by account manager. Complying with carrier binding authority. Managing and maintaining Washington Insurance License. Enrolling in technical and sales training studies on an ongoing basis. Professional designations (ACSR, CIC, CPCU, CISR) preferred, but not required.Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of successful sales experience. Valid WA State Driver's License. Prior sales experience in Personal, Commercial or Benefits Insurance or Financial Service Sales experience is preferred but not required.
