Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, where your enthusiasm and expertise will drive customer satisfaction and business growth. In this energetic role, you will be the key point of contact for clients seeking personalized insurance solutions. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help clients understand their coverage options, secure the best policies, and build lasting relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales talents while providing top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Review and assess insurance applications for personal lines policies. Gather necessary information from applicants. Monitor and manage existing policies. Analyze risk factors and determine appropriate coverage levels. Bind coverage and accept payments within the limits of our agency contracts. Quote and provide coverage advice for current customers and referrals. Respond to customer telephone and email requests in a timely manner. Document and communicate premium rates based on carrier information Document all daily activities in the management software system in a timely manner. Scan and attach all documents to customer files, in the management software system. Maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Review annual customer renewal coverage. Maintain knowledge of current legal and social conditions which may impact adequacy of policy coverage limits. Act as a back up to the team, when other team members are out of the office. All other duties as assigned Must be able to work out of The Benefit Companies Brookfield Office Skills An active Wisconsin Property and Casualty Insurance License or that ability to obtain one within six months of hire. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field Good working knowledge of personal insurance. Experience with Microsoft and industry management software system Proactive and excellent follow up skills. Detailed and organized. Positive attitude. Customer Service experience. Relationship driven. Professional. Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering positive experiences in all interactions. Understanding of benefits administration and compliance standards such as HIPAA when applicable.
