Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are a high-volume, established insurance agency focused on commercial growth and long-term market expansion. Our team is built for producers who want a fast-moving environment, strong internal support, and the ability to grow a meaningful commercial book of business. This is a production-driven role. We provide the platform, carrier access, and internal infrastructure—you bring the drive to build, close, and retain commercial accounts. Compensation:
$45,000 - $75,000+ base salary plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses
What You'll Do:
Build a
Commercial Book of Business:
Develop and grow a pipeline of small-to-mid-sized commercial accounts across industries such as contractors, retail, professional services, and small businesses.
Drive New Business Production:
Own prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound opportunities to consistently generate new commercial revenue. Consult with
Business Owners:
Identify risk exposures and design tailored commercial insurance solutions including property, liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto, and umbrella coverage.
Retain and Expand Accounts:
Strengthen long-term client relationships through proactive service, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Quote, Present, and Close Business:
Work efficiently through the full sales cycle from discovery to binding coverage. Collaborate with
Internal Team Support:
Leverage service, marketing, and account management support to maximize production efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Production-Minded Professionals:
You are motivated by sales performance, income growth, and building a long-term book of business.
Strong Communicators:
Confident in presenting to business owners and explaining commercial risk and coverage solutions clearly.
Self-Directed & Competitive:
You take ownership of your pipeline and thrive in a results-driven environment.
Licensed or License-Ready:
Active Property & Casualty license preferred. Support provided for candidates willing to obtain quickly. Commercial or B2
B Sales Experience Preferred:
Prior insurance, account management, or business-to-business sales experience is a strong plus.
What Success Looks Like:
Within 6-12 months, successful producers are: Consistently writing new commercial accounts Building a growing, retained book of business Generating strong referral pipelines Increasing renewal and cross-sell revenue Operating independently within a supported team structure
