Responsibilities Executive / Senior Underwriter - Allied Healthcare Excess Are you a seasoned underwriting professional with deep expertise in Allied Healthcare Excess liability? We're looking for a high-performing Executive/Senior Underwriter to join our team and play a critical role in driving profitable growth and strengthening broker partnerships. What You'll Do Manage and grow a profitable book of Allied Healthcare Excess business Underwrite complex primary and excess risks across E&S lines Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers Serve as a technical expert on coverage, pricing, and underwriting strategy Lead underwriting activities including new business, renewals, and pricing Identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to enhance portfolio performance Collaborate cross-functionally (claims, product, leadership) to inform decisions Mentor and coach junior underwriters and contribute to team development Qualifications What We're Looking For 5+ years of Allied Healthcare liability underwriting experience Strong background in Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines and wholesale distribution Expertise in Allied Healthcare Excess business Proven ability to drive profitable growth and broker engagement Advanced selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring others Preferred Bachelor's degree (Risk Management preferred) CPCU, ASLI, AU, or similar designations Additional Company Details We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third party recruiting agencies or firms.
