Credit Risk Manager

• Financial Services In-office Are you an experienced Credit Risk professional ready to take on a critical role in unsecured, credit card, and debit card, student-loans, payday type underwriting?

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to help drive growth while managing risk effectively. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on data analysis, policy development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

• Underwrite new consumer credit card applications and credit limit increases within lending limits.
• Maintain consistent underwriting practices aligned with credit guidelines throughout the cardholder lifecycle.
• Analyze data and recommend credit policy changes to support growth and minimize losses.
• Use analytical tools to evaluate performance, identify risks, and find growth opportunities.
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports for management and the board.
• Ensure all compliance and audit requirements are met under payment network and federal regulations.

What You Bring:

• College degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar financial industry role.
• Strong background in consumer credit underwriting, preferably unsecured credit.
• Skilled at building projections and making credit/product recommendations based on data analysis.
