POSITION SUMMARY
The Indirect Lending Dealer Representative is responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with auto and recreational dealerships to support the growth of Sierra Pacific Credit Union's indirect lending program. This position focuses on dealer outreach, regular dealership visits, and serving as a liaison between dealer partners and the credit union's lending team. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES
Dealer Relationship Management Conduct regular dealership visits within the assigned territory to promote Sierra Pacific Credit Union's indirect lending program. Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealership finance managers. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealership partners. Provide training and guidance to dealership personnel on program guidelines, documentation requirements, and submission procedures. Business Development Promote the credit union's indirect lending program and service advantages to dealership partners. Identify opportunities to strengthen existing dealer relationships and support the onboarding of new dealer partners when appropriate. Market Intelligence Collect competitor rate sheets and market program information quarterly. Provide insights to lending leadership regarding market trends, dealer feedback, and competitive positioning. Communicate opportunities for program improvement based on dealer and market observations. Operational Coordination Maintain accurate records of dealer visits, communications, and relationship activity. Communicate dealer feedback, operational concerns, and process improvements to lending leadership. Assist dealers with submission questions and help resolve documentation or process issues. Credit & Underwriting Support Utilize lending and underwriting knowledge to help identify strong loan structures and quality submissions. Recognize potential risk indicators, documentation concerns, or inconsistencies in loan applications. Work collaboratively with lending staff to support sound underwriting and loan quality. Compliance and Risk Awareness Adhere to all Sierra Pacific Credit Union policies and procedures. Follow all applicable federal and state lending regulations. Identify and escalate potential fraud indicators, compliance concerns, or dealer performance issues. Other duties as may be assigned.• Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework or a degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in indirect auto lending, automotive finance, or financial institution lending preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting or credit analysis is preferred. Credit union experience is a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to effectively communicate with dealership personnel and internal teams. Understanding of indirect auto lending processes and dealership environments preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a field-based role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to work independently outside of the office environment while maintaining communication with the lending team.EDUCATION ANDWORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in indirect auto lending, automotive finance, or financial institution lending preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting or credit analysis is preferred. Credit union experience is a plus.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required as frequent travel is required within the assigned territory to conduct dealer visits.Job Type:
