Responsibilities :

Facilitate client development and retention and enhance client relationships through marketing, travel, client presentations, and proposal generation. Nurture and manage assigned agency relationships. Underwrite and negotiate new business and renewals with middle market accounts. Handle lines of business including workers compensation, umbrella, automobile, general liability, property, construction, and inland marine. Perform hazard analysis and assess prospect financial standing, operational strategy, and industry trends to determine whether to proceed with account, and how to approach pricing.

Requirements :

Experience performing Commercial Property and General Liability Insurance underwriting and thorough knowledge of assessment, controls, rules, guidelines, pricing, rating, and coverage. Excellent compensation and benefits package provided with chances for advancement in a large insurance leader. Long term growth potential as well as a chance to build a new division from the ground.
