We're currently seeking a Part-Time Underwriter to join our team on weekends. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing information, making sound decisions, and playing a critical role in helping customers secure financing solutions. What You'll Do As a Part-Time Underwriter, you'll review loan applications and supporting documentation to assess risk, ensure compliance, and make informed lending decisions. You'll work closely with internal teams to help move applications efficiently through the underwriting process while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Review loan applications, and credit reports. Analyze applicant information to determine eligibility and lending risk. Make timely approval, conditional approval, or decline decisions based on established guidelines. Verify accuracy and completeness of application data. Ensure compliance with company policies, lender requirements, and regulatory standards. Communicate underwriting decisions and conditions to internal teams. Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems. Meet productivity and quality expectations while working independently.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to make objective decisions based on established guidelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and applications. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
