Job Description:
Our client is a specialty underwriter focusing on niche markets within the construction industry. We have the knowledge and the underwriting expertise to customize coverage's and provide solutions for contractors. Contractors include general contractors, trades, and artisans for commercial and residential work to include new and repair. This position is responsible for evaluation of the Commercial product from an underwriting perspective and utilizing data from a variety of sources to grow the business profitably. This position will evaluate expectations and underwriting opportunities and approve or decline submission from approved brokers and agents. In this position you will have authority to evaluate risks and make underwriting decisions and be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships within and outside of the company.
