This position will join a growing team of construction insurance professionals responsible for underwriting and marketing of specialty construction professional liability and environmental liability insurance coverages, including Contractor's Professional Protective Indemnity (CPPI) and Owners Professional Protective Indemnity (OPPI) insurance. Working in a team environment and under the supervision of experienced underwriters, this position will collaborate to underwrite and service accounts, identify key construction agents/brokers, implement sales and marketing activities, and demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of Hartford Construction's appetite and strategy.

• Qualifications:

• + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred + 3 + years of Construction Professional Liability underwriting, Environmental Liability underwriting, or Construction Casualty underwriting experience.

• Location:

• This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Houston, TX; Frisco, TX; or San Antonio, TX office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
• Compensation
• The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market.

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $99,600
