Asset Manager Landscape Workshop - 3.1 Birmingham, AL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Research Decision making Full Job Description Landscape Workshop is seeking an Asset Manager to support the management, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization of fleet and equipment across a growing multi-branch operation. This role is responsible for ensuring fleet reliability, maintaining accurate asset records, supporting procurement and disposal decisions, and optimizing company asset utilization. The ideal candidate combines hands-on fleet expertise with strong organizational skills to drive consistency and efficiency at scale. Key Responsibilities F leet Management & Performance Own and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program across all branches Drive data-informed repair vs. replacement decisions to optimize total cost of ownership Conduct periodic branch visits to audit fleet condition and maintenance practices Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve uptime and asset longevity Inventory & Asset Management Maintain accurate, real-time asset records within the inventory system Support asset tagging and onboarding for all equipment Coordinate intercompany transfers and ensure visibility of asset movement Plan and execute bi-annual inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability Assist in the equipment ordering process Acquisitions & Integration Support the integration of newly acquired branches into fleet and asset systems Review and inventory all fleet and equipment associated with acquisitions Ensure all acquired assets are properly tagged, documented, and entered into the asset management system Reconcile acquired asset lists against acquisition documentation and identify discrepancies Disposals & Resale Lead the end-to-end process for disposal and resale of obsolete or underutilized equipment Evaluate assets and recommend optimal disposition strategy Research market comps and establish competitive resale pricing Manage listings, buyer relationships, and closing documentation Documentation & Compliance Maintain centralized records for titles, registrations, and asset documentation Standardize documentation practices across all branches Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements Experience in fleet, equipment, or maintenance management Strong decision-making skills with basic Excel proficiency required Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed operations Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through Experience with equipment resale, procurement, or lifecycle management preferred Bachelor's degree preferred
