Overview Provide Asset Management Program Coordination inside an active international airport. Access facility assets on the land and air side of the complex. This position is client facing. Responsibilities Execute facility asset management program coordination Assist with lifecycle analysis and reporting of assets facility wide Support developing business cases and presenting findings to senior staff Coordinating and facilitating facility condition assessment field inspections across the airport Assist in developing capital planning documents and capital improvement project list Review and document building code compliance deficiencies and resolutions across the airport Assist in implementing the asset management route map initiatives for the airport Develop, implement and update a risk registry and/or dashboard for periodic reporting Coordinate asset maintenance and repairs while supporting capital plan development Assist with vendor contracts to ensure excellent service and value Have excellent communication skills adaptable to varied delivery methods and audiences; be able to convey information succinctly, make effective presentations and deliver professional reports Possess awareness and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for environmental, health and safety programs, OSHA, ADA, ergonomics and other facility related issues Oversee portfolio related purchasing and invoice payment ensuring adherence to strict financial controls Actively develop and manage key relationships with, industry and trade associations, representatives of government, public service organizations, customers and vendors Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Bachelor's degree is required 12 or more years of relevant experience with 5 or more in a supervisory position is required Knowledge and Skills In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles is required Familiarity with emergency action plans and business recovery programs is preferred Knowledge of OSHA and FEMA occupational safety regulations is required Knowledge of the architecture, engineering and construction management industry is preferred Ability to read and understand construction, electrical and equipment blueprints and schematics is required Basic computer literacy for entering and looking up information using standard business software is needed Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and others is required License and Certifications Must be able to pass multiple, comprehensive pre-employment background investigations and drug screen and possess a valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance. Travel Requirements This position is performed in person on location within the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Facility. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently inspects the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, while wearing personal protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions due to work activities occurring both inside and outside. Working occasional night shift hours may occur. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the position is moderately active and the employee is frequently standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The position also may also be sitting for long periods of time. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
