Job Description:
Investment Funds Mid/Snr Associate | San Francisco A top-tier US practice is seeking an Investment Funds Senior Associate to join its San Francisco Office. The team has made a series of hires recently and are looking to continue their growth with the addition of another Mid/Snr associate. The Opportunity
  • Advise sponsors and asset managers on the structuring, formation and fundraising of private investment funds
  • Work across a broad range of fund strategies, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds and other alternative investment vehicles
  • Gain exposure to the full fund lifecycle, including fund formation, investor negotiations, governance and ongoing operational matters
  • Opportunity to work on secondaries transactions, GP-led restructurings and other strategic fund-related matters
  • Collaborative, high-performing team with strong partner access and clear progression opportunities What They're Looking For
  • 5-8 years' experience (or equivalent) in investment funds, fund formation, investment management or related matters
  • Experience advising fund sponsors, asset managers or institutional investors
  • Exposure to private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate funds or other alternative investment structures
  • Strong drafting, technical and client management skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • J.D. from a top law school
  • California Bar qualification (or eligibility) preferred Relocation support available for the right candidate.
