The IT Datacenter Asset Management Administrator position within the IT Asset Management team will be the behind-the-scenes support contributing to the success of the Datacenter Operations teams as a whole and whose mission is to optimize the utilization of Tesla's IT Assets. This role will work closely with fellow team members and various other IT staff to ensure proper management of the asset lifecycle at Tesla. The Administrator must have a strong understanding of asset management disciplines and have experience working in a large scale fast-paced corporate environment. What You'll Do Provide prompt hardware support to reduce downtime and improve end-user satisfaction Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated hardware issues efficiently Ensure operational continuity to prevent service delays Coordinate logistics to ensure timely hardware availability for projects Work with procurement teams to track requisitions and verify equipment orders Prepare, label, and configure IT assets for deployment Conduct periodic audits to identify outdated or underutilized assets Maintain accurate inventory records within the asset management database Address asset-related tickets, including replacements, upgrades, and transfers Track asset ownership and location to ensure accountability What You'll Bring 3+ years of Asset Management experience is a must 3+ years of experience working within a datacenter environment is a must 3+ years of experience in an IT Operations role 3+ years of experience in logistics Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and process discipline Experience with IT Ticketing and Asset Management applications like ServiceNow
ITSM, BMC
