As a Construction Asset Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and maintenance schedules of fleet and equipment as well as overseeing the purchase of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern technology and systems, strong organizational skills, and authority to make decisions that directly impact the success of our projects. Your strong leadership, time management skills, and construction expertise will be vital in working with vendors and our teams. •

Key Responsibilities Ensure fleet and assets are properly maintained in accordance with safety and compliance (all local, state, and federal regulations such as weight, restrictions, permits, and hazardous materials). Maintain accurate inventory, storage, and distribution of all owned construction equipment and vehicles, their condition, and usage Collaborate with project managers to forecast equipment needs for upcoming projects. Oversee timely vehicle and equipment maintenance, inspections, and quality checks. Plan and monitor preventive equipment maintenance, body repair, emergency repairs, and all other work. Source, evaluate, and maintain vehicle tracking software; provide training. Manage vehicle licensure and registration. Provide reports to management on inventory, budgeting, maintenance schedules, progress, and vehicle/equipment routing. Help management and accounting determine equipment budgets and rates for owned and potentially purchased / rented equipment. Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency. Develop, implement, and maintain strategies for purchasing and distributing construction equipment and services. Run analysis to compare renting vs purchasing vehicles and equipment. Ensure operational control and long-term cost-effectiveness. Obtain three quotes when making purchases or rentals. Attend meetings and ensure team communication. Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Experiences Minimum five years' experience in asset management. Must have experience with heavy/yellow iron equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, etc.) Minimum 3 years' purchasing experience required. Minimum 3 years' of supervisory experience required. Demonstrated experience in mid-level management on commercial, public works, or government construction projects. Must be experienced with maintenance/repair software systems and documenting regular maintenance on equipment and creating alerts for periodic maintenance on vehicles/equipment Communication skills will be subject to assessment in both verbal and written form-business correspondence as well as ad-hoc in-field communication will both be strong demands in this position Technical Skills Proficient in
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc. Proficient in Asset tracking software Other construction management platform experience is a plus (e.g., Primavera P6, RMS, Oracle, eCMS, etc. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at all times Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
What We Offer Salary:
$120,000-$160,000/yr Health, dental, and vision insurance premiums 100% paid for you and your dependents.
