Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Fixed Asset Manager to support asset accounting operations for a Long-term Contract position. This role focuses on maintaining accurate fixed asset records, overseeing depreciation activity, and ensuring the integrity of the fixed asset ledger. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage asset data with accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee depreciation calculations and confirm that asset values are recorded in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Review asset additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals while keeping supporting documentation up to date.
  • Monitor the fixed asset ledger and resolve discrepancies through research and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct asset inventory reviews to verify the existence, status, and classification of capital assets.
  • Prepare reports related to fixed asset activity and provide analysis to support accounting and finance teams.
  • Support audits by organizing records, responding to documentation requests, and explaining asset accounting activity. Requirements
  • Experience managing fixed asset accounting processes in an accounting or finance environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed assets, including capitalization, tracking, and lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with fixed asset depreciation methods and related accounting treatment.
  • Ability to work with and maintain an accurate fixed asset ledger.
  • Experience supporting or performing fixed asset inventory validation activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with close attention to accuracy, detail, and reconciliation work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
