Duration:
12 months We are seeking a Digital Asset Manager to oversee the organization, governance, and lifecycle management of creative assets across a large-scale global design organization. This role serves as the central steward of the organization's creative content ecosystem, ensuring assets are properly tagged, organized, archived, and easily accessible for teams worldwide. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and experienced managing digital asset management systems within creative, marketing, entertainment, or agency environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the intake, organization, governance, and lifecycle of creative assets across multiple business units and teams
  • Own and maintain metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, and tagging standards to ensure asset discoverability and consistency
  • Ensure all final creative assets, templates, presentations, and supporting materials are accurately tagged and archived upon project completion
  • Maintain clear governance between source files, master templates, working files, and executional assets
  • Manage user permissions, folder structures, and access controls to protect critical creative resources and prevent unauthorized changes
  • Serve as the final quality control checkpoint before assets are migrated into enterprise digital asset management platforms
  • Enforce global naming conventions, organizational standards, and archival processes
  • Act as the primary resource for locating and retrieving historical assets, campaign materials, localized content, templates, and creative documentation
  • Support creative teams with asset search requests and content retrieval needs
  • Train designers, producers, agencies, vendors, and stakeholders on asset management best practices, workflows, and platform usage
  • Create and maintain documentation related to file management standards, taxonomy structures, and governance processes
  • Continuously evaluate and improve asset management workflows to increase efficiency and usability across teams
  • Partner with creative, production, marketing, and operations teams to optimize content management processes and support business needs
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation, process improvements, and platform enhancements
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in digital asset management, creative operations, content operations, library sciences, or related fields within a creative agency, brand, media, entertainment, or marketing environment
  • Strong understanding of creative production workflows, including design systems, localization, version control, and presentation development processes
  • Experience developing and maintaining metadata structures, taxonomy models, and content governance frameworks
  • Experience migrating large volumes of content into enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms
  • Proficiency working with creative asset formats including PSD, AI, Keynote, PDF, photography assets, and related file types
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience managing asset permissions, folder structures, and content governance standards
  • Ability to establish and enforce process standards while maintaining positive working relationships across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience training users on systems, workflows, and operational best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve processes in complex environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building DAM taxonomies and metadata frameworks from the ground up
  • Experience supporting global creative organizations or large-scale content operations teams
  • Familiarity with localization workflows and multi-region content management practices
  • Experience with enterprise DAM platforms, content repositories, and creative operations tools
  • Passion for creative processes, design systems, and content organization best practices
